  • ICT - Future Internet in Prague, Czechia - 5/11/2009
    The Future of the Internet Conference aims to review the strategic orientations and trends governing the future societal and economic developments of on-line Internet and Mobile societies and to present interesting ideas and projects in this area. On 31 March 2008, the Bled Declaration launched a European approach to the Future of the Internet, and the conference in Bled established the Future Internet Assembly. In the meantime, the Madrid meeting (9-10 December 2008)will have reviewed the achievements and plans for the work ahead running up to this 2nd Future Internet Conference in Prague 11-13 May 2009
  • ISG creation on mobile thin- client - 4/24/2009
    The mobithin ICT project on Mobile Thin Client architecture is proud annouce that is has just launched an Industry Specification Group within ETSI. The comittee creation was approved by the ETSI Steering Board, and the first kickoff meeting of the ISG will proceed on May 20th in Sophia Antipolis. The ETSI invitation letter was sent (URL) and every ETSI member is invited to participate to the meeting. The founding members of the ISG are IBBT, JCP-Consult, Deutche Telekom AG, and Institut telecom. The short term objective of the group will be to produce pre-standard documents on requirements, architectural aspects and interfaces related to the mobile thin-client paradigm.   • ICT - Future Internet in Madrid, Spain - 12/10/2008
    The "Future Internet" theme has recently been gaining momentum all over the world. Europe is particularly active in this area. On 31 March 2008, the Future Internet Assembly was kicked off at the Bled conference organised by the EC and the Slovenian EU Presidency. In 9th and 10th December 2008 the Future Internet Assembly will be held in Madrid as a continuation of the bled event as a networking meeting towards the Future Internet for Europe.
